8 Month Millie

Millie, Millie, silly Millie.

We love her so.

Now that she is crawling and very mobile, our lives are forever changed! Millie crawls with one purpose...to climb up on things. She is really good at pulling herself up on furniture and bonking her head ;) She also likes to follow me around the house everywhere I go. She's just my little buddy now, especially since I'm home all day now. It's great! I know some people don't like the idea of staying home all day to cook and clean and yada-yada, but I love it! Call me crazy.

Some more milestones:

- Crawling
- Standing
- Her first bruise
- Words: yay, hi, dada and nom nom (she said wow once during a yawn and it was super cute, but it doesn't really count)
- She loves other babies and kids, she lights up whenever they come around and talk to her
- She also loves anyone that isn't white, especially African American people. She will smile so big for them right away (usually she has to study people for a while before she smiles for them)! Haha silly girl

Now that we are in Virginia I've been nannying twin boys that are almost 5. They love Millie so much! Millie will definitely be walking soon; all she wants to do is keep up with these boys! Between the 3 of them, their energy, different schedules and lots of cleaning I'm definitely a busy Mama. I love it though! I'd SO rather be busy at home than anything else. Plus, I guess it's good practice for the future. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful life.

Mother's Day was also on Sunday - and unfortunately, I was sick. I wasn't able to make it to church or do much so that was kind of a bummer. But Cam treated me very well, he is such an amazing husband. He fed me great food, brought me flowers, gave me a coupon for 80 minute massage...what else can a girl ask for? He knows me so well :) None of that matters much, the most important part is that I am actually a mother this year. I am still in awe that I have a beautiful daughter and amazing husband who I love more than anything else in this world! What a blessing.

"What's up guys?"

She doesn't know if she likes the grass yet...

"Yaaaayyyy" (clapping hands)
Okay, maybe she likes it a little :)
